BIOGRAPHY

Roger Muller's photographic work deliberately uses modernist techniques to interpret the world around us. By visiting a place many times, Roger develops an intimacy with a location before composing an image of that space.

He exhibited at the Gleeson Gallery, San Francisco. His work includes showings at Ryerson Rathskeller, New York; Stairway Gallery, Maine; The Main Gallery, University of Hawaii; among other solo and group exhibitions.

Roger is the author of articles on creativity, design, military history, and photography, as well as both undergraduate and graduate school curricula.

He has received awards in advertising creative direction from the American Advertising Federation, Pikes Peak Advertising Federation, Golden Web, and Retail Advertising World.

Roger studied at the Art Students League of New York, holds a B.F.A. in Photography from Pratt Institute, and assisted Sally Mann, John Sexton, and Arnold Neumann at the Maine Photographic Workshops. Continuing his curiosity for all things creative, he attended a workshop by Allan Ross at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite Valley, CA.

Roger lives in Caron City, NV, and teaches at the Academy of Art University.
